Viv sees the purpose of her work as enabling leaders to gain increased self-awareness, and enhanced resilience to underpin their leadership capability. Through leadership coaching and development, both in groups and one to one, she aims to develop their ability and motivation to make significant behavioural changes, which result in enhanced personal best performance.

She has been working in the field of organisational development for over 25 years, starting this stage of her career as Learning and Development manager at British Airports Authority. Her client portfolio includes organisations from the Professional Services Industry, Law firms, Financial Sector, Public Health & Education Sectors, Manufacturing Industries, Technology & R&D sector, smaller entrepreneurial companies and charities. She is also a visiting programme tutor and coach for Cranfield University.

Viv’s coaching, leadership and team development work bring together her experience and interest in business and psychology. She believes in a holistic, systemic approach to the work and two main schools of psychology inform her work: Positive Psychology and Gestalt. She has an MA in Psychological Coaching from the Metanoia Institute, and has trained to master practitioner level in NLP; she holds a diploma in Business Performance Coaching from Newcastle College. She is a member of APECS [Association for Professional Executive Coaching & Supervision] and the Association for Coaching and held a joint Chair position for the Independent Consultants Forum/CIPD Wimbledon Branch for two years. She is an accredited Myers Briggs Type Indicator administrator, and an accredited trainer of the Penn Resiliency Programme, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Her personal style has been described as having an appropriate balance of energy and calmness creating a positive learning environment that is informative, thought provoking, provides encouragement and challenge and is action orientated.

She has regular supervision and puts continuous professional development as a priority. She is conversationally fluent in French and Italian.
